You don't have to leave the cities for a small town shopping experience, but you do need to veer off Lake Street in downtown Wayzata. Just up the hill from the Historic Depot, in an early 1900's white cottage, is this charming shop filled largely with goods made by local and regional artists. Pottery, beautiful wooden bowls and spoons, hand blown glass and paintings are the big draws, but once inside, you'll find smaller temptations from hand embroidered pincushions to hand crafted jewelry; old fashioned candy to cards depicting scenes from Lake Minnetonka. There are also many unique house wares and fun gifts. Featured in 'Treasures of Minnesota' Manitoba is filled with curiosities and much more.
